GABEY Consulting Pty. Ltd. ("GABEY Consulting", "we", "us" or "our") respects the privacy of individuals and is committed to responsible and transparent handling of personal information.

Associated systems: Some GABEY enquiries may be processed through technology operated under the DotShield® platform or associated GABEY systems. Where this occurs, the information remains subject to applicable GABEY privacy and security requirements.

7. Research & development

GABEY Consulting undertakes cybersecurity, technology and related R&D. Where personal information is involved, we seek to limit collection and use to what is reasonably necessary and apply controls appropriate to its nature and sensitivity. Where practicable, research information may be de-identified or aggregated.

8. Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to service providers, professional advisers, authorised contractors or specialists, associated systems used to provide a requested service, authorities where required or authorised by law, or another party with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law.

We do not sell personal information.

9. Overseas disclosure

Some technology or service providers used by GABEY Consulting may operate infrastructure or personnel outside Australia. Where personal information is likely to be disclosed to an overseas recipient, GABEY Consulting will address that handling in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

Before final publication: verify current hosting, email, analytics, cloud, support and other provider data flows and, where required, identify the countries in which overseas recipients are likely to be located.

GABEY Consulting takes reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures may include technical, administrative and physical safeguards. For security reasons, this policy does not describe detailed internal security configurations.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, legitimate business requirements, security and audit requirements, and applicable legal or contractual obligations. Where no longer required, we take reasonable steps, where applicable, to destroy or de-identify it securely.

You may request access to personal information we hold about you or request correction of information you believe is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity. Access or correction may be refused or limited where permitted by law.

13. Privacy enquiries & complaints

If you have a concern about our handling of personal information, contact us with sufficient information for the matter to be investigated. We will review privacy complaints and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Our websites may contain links to or content from third-party services. Those parties may process information independently of GABEY Consulting. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies and are not controlled by us.
