The NHTSA is not the only organisation investigating Tesla's self-driving technology. The Department of Justice and the California DMV also conduct their inquiries. The investigation by NHTSA is still ongoing, so it's uncertain what the final results will be. Nonetheless, the analysis suggests that NHTSA is concerned about the safety of Tesla's Autopilot and FSD features.
